I made an oversized cushion for the seat of my Arts & Crafts rocking chair that belonged to my Great Aunt. A&C is my style, as you can see, and these are my living room colors (my couch is red). |
Newborn bibs and pj's for the Children's Home |
An over the chair arm organizer for a shut-in at church. |
I am working on a wall hanging for my husband that is about his tour in Viet Nam. Going to add fabric photos and his patches, etc. Should have it done by next month. |
Here I am doing the fabric painting on one of the blocks. You add fabric medium to acrylic paint. |
Two special Robert E. Lee prints also hang in the living room. |
My word, Marie. Everything is just beautiful. I love the rocking chair cushion. Love it, love it.

ReplyDeleteHi Marie, I am visiting from your other blog after leaving a comment. I saw this on the sidebar and came right over to visit. I love your creations, quilts and art work. I am not a quilter but I love them. I have done fabric painting for years and love it. As you know I am a painter but do a bit of sewing too.

Marie.........busy fingers!!........how inspiring your beautiful handwork is. I love the cushion on the chair and the projects you give to others. Your pineapple looks wonderful and I can't wait to see that beautiful baby quilt! My niece just told me that she is expecting in October and wants me to make something for the baby from grandparents clothes who have passed. Not sure if it will be a boy or girl yet and I am so looking forward to sewing for this little one! Love all of the pretty things you made!
